Apple has published a new online tool that checks availability of iPhone 3GS’ in a selected area.

The tool, published 3 days ago, checks each and every Apple store’s iPhone 3GS inventory and lists the availability of the phone, catagorized by color and capacity. This is definitely a very handy tool for those who have been prowling Apple stores looking for a 16GB white iPhone and cannot find them anywhere.
