Touchstone charger requires matte backing:

Most of you who saw a picture of a Palm Pre saw its uber glossy backing, however, if your going to use the Touchstone charger you will need a matte backing. This is because the glossy backing does not include magnets needed to charge. Another thing to buy for a Palm Pre.

Game development confirmed:

Palm hasn’t changed their thoughts about “native” app, but they did say that there are web based games in development for the Palm Pre.

(Updated) Phone as modem removed:

Equal Tech News Senior Editor Daniel Joel also points out that on Sprint’s Palm Pre website, the Phone as modem section has been taken away. It used to say that the Pre would be able to tether over wire or bluetooth. No one yet knows whether this is simply Sprint cleaning up the web page or finding a way to force users to get their Simply Everything + Mobile Broadband subscriptions.
