Google Flaunts Its Mac Love - Chrome Coming Early 09′

Just earlier this week I posted here on Equal Tech News about the long awaited Mac release of Google’s Picasa program. Chrome Product Manager Brian Radowski informed CNET.com that releases of the widely talked about Google Internet Browser “Chrome” would become available to Linux and Mac users sometime in the first business quarter of 2009. The much anticipated browser launched in Beta for the Windows OS in September of 2008. Its received much praise and criticism of being simple, which is good, but some see it as almost too simple. Brian also informed the people that they are working on building this more, explaining that the recent months have simply been to help them “get the architecture right.”

The Google Chrome Internet Browser actually had “Beta” dropped from it’s name just one month ago. This is proof that it is becoming more stable and trusted and now the company can focus on expanding and making it better all the more, including opening it up to the Mac and Linux markets.

Keep connected to Equal Tech News and we’ll let you know when Chrome is released for your Mac or Linux machines.
